Winter skin care for babies

In winter the essential problem is with our skin. We notice chapped skin, dry skin and lips. We feel itchiness and one just wonders what to do. Usually in babies the cheeks become red, dry, scaly or chapped. The best remedy is to use wild moisturizer to the cheeks at least 3 to 4 times a day. We need to apply it immediately after a bath as well as night before child goes to sleep.

In the market we have multiple products but choose something which is hypoallergenic that is no colour and no fragrance, medicated products are best to use. As the child grow little older we can see white patches on the cheeks as well as the forehead. This is due to extreme dryness, so don't use a soap for children especially on face during winter, it dries the skin even more. Take a medicated moisturizer and use it for 2 to 3 times a day. After 18 months of age don't forget to apply a sunscreen, it prevents tanning and dryness. It has inbuilt moisturizer in it. Take care of this winter and don't forget to use sunscreen.
